This is the newest release in our Orchard IPA series, what’s the Orchard IPA series you ask?   First off our orchard series focuses on the New England style of Hazy IPA where we focus on using only one type of hop, the only exception was the Veteran’s Blend which was made with multiple hops selected by veteran owned breweries to give back to Veteran’s charities.

Adam thought this would be a fun idea to help people figure out what their favorite hop is, so we started with Eldorado in May, Mosaic in July, Galaxy in August, Hallertau Blanc in October, and Veterans Blend in November…

So now we are using all Styrian Wolf hops this round, these are not experimental batches, they’re full production beers. 

About the Styrian Wolf variety, it comes to us from the Slovenian Institute for Hop Research and Brewing in Zalec Slovenia.  It is a public research, developmental, advisory and educational organization that also brings us Styrian Dragon, Fox and Golding. This team works closely with the institute to select these varieties for U.S craft brewers.

Styrian Wolf has dominant strawberry flavors with slight savory passion fruit, mango, spice, citrus and floral aromas topped with notes of herbal anise.
