The lineup will include:
2018 Cavaillon Skin Fermented Viognier
CA - Madera County
The Cavaillon is a great entry into the land of skin fermented white wines. On first swirl it presents a beautiful white floral note, followed by baked pear and spice. On the palate there is a pretty note of dried mango, with some juniper spice and a salty finish. It’s one of our favorites year after year, we always wish we made more!
2018 Sangiovese
CA - California
Sangiovese is such a great wine for sharing. It is approachable, yet with a tannin structure to stand up to many different foods - we think it’s the perfect pizza and pasta wine! On the nose, it inspires notes of redwood tips, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, there it is tart cherry, a dusty tannin structure, as you would find in cocoa nibs. Drink a bottle now, and save one for later, you won’t be disappointed!
2018 Weed Vineyard Syrah
CA - Sonoma County - Dry Creek Valley
Year after year we love how the Weed Farms Syrah presents notes of the vineyard - violet and bay leaf, followed by black olive and thyme - the perfect balance of being both wild and delicate at the same time. On the palate it is a mouthful of blackberry and crunchy tannins with a lovely black pepper spice. It is a great wine to be paired with roasted meats or vegetables, at a dinner with friends.
2018 Grist Vineyard Syrah
CA - Sonoma County - Dry Creek Valley
We love how this wine truly shows off both the terroir and climate of this gorgeous vineyard. With so much sunshine on these western facing vines, you can practically taste the rays coming through. There is a beautiful floral quality to this wine, followed by a light white pepper spice. On the palate, there is gorgeous bright berry notes and a lengthy lush finish.
2018 Narrow Gate Vineyard Grenache
CA - El Dorado County -Sierra Foothills
Throughout the fermentation of this wine, the best descriptors always circled back to the same three words - yum, yummy, and yes! We know they’re not formal, but they best describe this youthful Grenache. On first pour, the first striking thing is gorgeous vermilion color- the wine when pressed after fermentation had a stunning orange hue, and the color truly presents itself in the wine. On the nose, it is all red fruits of strawberry and raspberry with a hint of rose and on the palate it is full and rich with a lingering finish.
